Zach Bourque is the chief executive officer of Minot DeBlois Advisors, and he serves as a portfolio manager and strategist. He joined Rice, Heard & Bigelow in October 2001 and remains an employee, shareholder and director of that firm. Zach graduated cum laude from Middlebury College. He received his CFA charter in 2004 and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. Zach serves as a trustee on many trust accounts at Rice, Heard & Bigelow.

Greg Gullickson is the president and chairman of the board of Minot DeBlois Advisors. Greg serves as the primary contact and portfolio manager for non-discretionary trust relationships. Greg joined Rice, Heard & Bigelow in June 1986 and remains an employee, shareholder and director of that firm. Greg graduated cum laude from the University of South Dakota and earned a master of science in economics from the London School of Economics. He received his CFA charter in 1990 and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. Greg serves as a trustee on many trust accounts at Rice, Heard & Bigelow.

Adam Rutledge is an investment officer and portfolio manager at Minot DeBlois Advisors. He is also an employee, shareholder, and Director of Rice, Heard & Bigelow, which he joined in 2010. Adam holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Boston. He graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Wake Forest University, earned a master's degree summa cum laude at Yale University under Professor Harold Bloom, and completed a doctorate in English Literature at Brandeis University. Adam has been involved in ESG investing and is Chair of the Socially Responsible Investing Committee for the Trustees of Donations, which manages assets for churches and organizations associated with the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. He has served as the Treasurer of the Church of the Advent on Beacon Hill since 2012, is President of the Board of the Sears Charitable Trust, and serves on the boards of several arts and letters organizations in the greater Boston area.

Robert G. Bannish

Bob Bannish is an attorney, admitted to the bar in Massachusetts. Prior to joining Rice, Heard & Bigelow as a shareholder and director in January 2001, he was a partner in the Boston law firm of Hutchins & Wheeler. Bob graduated cum laude from Harvard College and received a Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law. He is president of Rice, Heard & Bigelow and serves as chief compliance officer for Minot DeBlois Advisors.

 

Kevin T. McQuaid

Kevin McQuaid joined Rice, Heard & Bigelow in August of 2010, and in 2011 he became a shareholder and director. Prior to joining RHB, Kevin was the tax manager for the law firm of Nixon Peabody LLP. Kevin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Babson College and was awarded his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1991. He is an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service.

 

Sarah M. Allen

Sarah Allen became a shareholder and Director of Rice, Heard & Bigelow, Inc. in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, she was a partner in the Boston law firm of Pabian & Russell, LLC. At Pabian & Russell, Sarah served as co-manager of the firm’s trust and estates department. Her legal practice was concentrated in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration and probate litigation. Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Science summa cum laude from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2000, earned a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 2004 and received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Boston University School of Law in 2014. In 2020, Sarah was awarded the Accredited Estate Planning (AEP) designation.

In 2014, Sarah was named Up & Coming Lawyer by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Sarah was also named to the Massachusetts Super Lawyers list appearing in New England Super Lawyers Magazine and Boston Magazine from 2014 through 2021. In 2009, 2011 and 2012, Sarah was named to the Massachusetts Rising Stars list in the same magazines. She regularly serves as a lecturer for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, the Boston Bar Association and local Estate Planning Councils on various estate planning and trust administration topics.

Sarah is a Past President of the Boston Estate Planning Council (BEPC). She is the Vice Chair of the Professional Advisors Council (PAC) for the Boston Foundation and is the former Co-Chair of the Boston Foundation’s Professional Advisors Network (PAN). Sarah is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, the Fiduciary Inn of Courts and the Trusts & Estates Consortium.


Gregory J. Murphy

Greg Murphy is a CPA and an attorney, admitted to the bar in Massachusetts. Prior to joining Rice, Heard & Bigelow as a shareholder and director in January 2022, he was a partner in the Boston law firm of Conn Kavanaugh Rosenthal Peisch & Ford, LLP. Greg received his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School and received his undergraduate degree in economics and accounting from the College of the Holy Cross.
